Job Description
This position is for a Production Supervisor at Carmeuse/Schlegel Sand & Gravel, responsible for overseeing all production activities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, managing employee and environmental relations, and providing leadership to maintain high quality and productivity. The role involves identifying and preventing nonconformities, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates will have a associates degree; or related experience.
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with focus on quality, safety, environmental matters, process & people; industry background in manufacturing related to mining, stone/sand processing, cement plants, civil construction, etc., highly preferred.
- Strong material management skills; must be results driven & a self-starter.
- Positive & proactive attitude with ability to address issues and implement solutions as required.
- Detail & process oriented with strong problem resolution abilities.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic time management skills
- Basic understanding of SAP
- Basic knowledge of carmeuse's safety regulations
