Job Description
The HR Manager is responsible for all aspects of employee and labor relations, including staffing, compliance, and labor management. This role involves leadership of employee engagement activities, talent management, benefits administration, and investigations. The HR Manager also acts as a liaison between the HR team and management.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor Degree in Business, HR or related field
- 6+ years Human Resources generalist experience
- 3+ years in a leadership role (including a manufacturing background preferred)
- Union experience involving grievance handling
- Strong business acumen, consulting, influencing and change management skills
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Fluency in oral and written English
