Manager Data Science, Pricing Algorithms

CarMax is seeking a Manager Data Science, Pricing Algorithms to develop algorithms that accurately value individual cars and effectively respond to changing consumer demand and market conditions.

Requirements

• Develop new models and improve existing models
• Analyze, validate, and apply feature engineering to large and complex pricing-related data sets
• Leverage statistical / machine learning techniques and sound reasoning to develop, validate, and improve predictive models
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders to drive change
• Help CarMax continue to develop its data expertise
• Effectively communicate how our models work to team members, both at a general level and a detailed level
