Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Engineer with expertise in SONET equipment and optical circuits. The position requires hands-on experience with telecom transport infrastructure and familiarity with the provisioning and testing of a variety of circuit types.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SONET equipment and Optical Circuits
- Platforms: ONS-15454, Fujitsu Flashwave 4500/9500
- Strong understanding of the following: Gigabit Ethernet / Fast Ethernet, DS1/T1, DS3, VT1.5, VTV, STS1, STSV, OC3 to OC192 circuit types
- Familiarity with provisioning and acceptance testing processes for the above circuit types
- Background in telecom transport
- Ability to read and implement design documentation
