Job Description
Careem is building the Everything App for the greater Middle East. We're looking for a Senior Accounting Associate to support accounting operations and ensure financial integrity for one of our key markets.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from a well-regarded institution
- 3–4 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and accrual accounting
- Comfortable handling large data sets and working across internal teams (data, product, commercial, finance, and operations) and external stakeholders (partners)
- Knowledge of SQL/queries is a plus
- Fluency in English
- Prior experience in a tech company or food delivery business is preferred
