Job Description
The Range Support Craft 2 (RSC-2) is seeking a Mate to support safe vessel operations, crew and deck evolutions, and mission readiness under the direction of the vessel Master. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime operations, navigation, safety, and effective communication with stakeholders. The vessel is a 114-foot aluminum vessel supporting US Navy training exercises in the Marianas Island Range Complex.
Requirements
- USCG Master 500 GRT Near Coastal (minimum)
- USCG MC (minimum)
- FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit preferred
- Valid TWIC and MMC with applicable endorsements
- High school diploma or associate degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years as Master or Mate aboard vessels of at least 100 feet
- Strong knowledge of CFRs, NAVOSH, USCG inspections, and vessel documentation
- Experience operating vessels in open ocean or near-shore environments
- US citizenship required
