We're seeking a senior commercial leader to drive the growth of Carbon Direct's power and electricity analytics business. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of decarbonized power, bridging technical excellence with commercial strategy.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in the power, energy, or climate technology sectors
- Experience working with or at a data center hyperscaler is a strong plus
- Proven track record selling power-related offerings into large enterprises
- Experience building and commercializing analytical or technical services
- Strategic seller who can translate complex modeling and scientific capabilities into client value
- Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable building a business line and owning outcomes
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Existing relationships or book of business in the power, energy, or climate technology sectors
- Experience in commercializing software or digital products in energy analytics
- Understanding of grid modeling, renewable integration, or power market dynamics
- An advanced degree in engineering, power systems, energy economics, or a related field is preferred
