Mortgage Loan Officer - WA

Canopy Mortgage is hiring full-time Branch Managers and Loan Originators who can grow the business by managing referral partners and generating loan volume within their local market. The position offers complete control of loans, proprietary systems, and state-of-the-art technology with in-house underwriting and funding. Candidates should have a passion for the mortgage process and experience with strategic growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• NMLS Safe Act compliant
• Active state license
• Established contacts/referral partners
• Knowledge of different types of loans and credit bureaus
• Working history of loan process and general underwriting guidelines
• Funding 1 million in self-generated production
• College preferred, not required with proven mortgage experience
• Proven track record of proactively soliciting new business
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently
