Job Description
As one of Canada’s leading MGAs, Financial Horizons helps over 6,500 independent advisors grow their businesses and achieve their vision of success. The Investment Specialist is responsible for processing investment transactions and trades, both timely and accurately.
Requirements
- Full scrubbing of received applications ensuring that SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met
- Communicates with advisors to obtain missing information and/or signatures required on investment applications
- Application entry into the WealthServ system
- Ensuring adherence to process to mitigate required LOI’s
- Email wire order confirmation for application submission
- Completes transactions and trades on WealthServ system
- Transfer follow ups – ongoing updates to ensure current data is captured in the WealthServ system
- Retrieve and respond to incoming email inquiries and requests
- Works extensively with back-office systems, WealthServ, as well as insurance carrier websites
