Job Description
Callen-Lorde is seeking a Director of Medicine to provide clinical and administrative leadership in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer. The Director of Medicine will ensure high-quality patient care, oversee medical providers, and represent the CMO internally and externally.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD/DO) with active New York State licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive supervisory/leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- 3–5 years of direct clinical practice in a community health center, hospital, or similar primary care environment
- Experience collaborating with hospital systems and managing patient transfers
