The Director, Revenue Accounting works closely with the VP, Corporate Controller to build-out the Revenue Accounting team and ensure the accounting is in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This position plays a critical role in the assessment and documentation of complex revenue transactions and provides guidance to Finance, Sales, and Field personnel.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a senior level revenue accounting position in the IT industry
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting
- Experience in NetSuite
- Familiar with, and intimate working knowledge of, the provisions of ASC 606 (Revenue from contracts with customers), including experience with ASC 606 within the IT Industry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detailed oriented and experience in leading, developing and growing a team
