Logistics Dispatcher

The Logistics Dispatcher is responsible for receiving and analyzing job orders from customers, prioritizing and assigning jobs to employees, and communicating with customers and employees to facilitate job completion.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the principals of excellent customer service
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
• Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
• Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
• Ability to enter alpha-numeric data efficiently
• Ability to navigate effectively in a Windows environment
• Ability to learn and understand job requirements after initial training
• Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize and organize work
• Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with business partners, supervisors/managers, peers, or subordinates
