Job Description
The Equipment Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation.
Requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation and safety to ensure compliance and operator safety.
- Apply strong knowledge of mechanical principles, material mechanics, and engineering fundamentals to support equipment design and troubleshooting.
- Proficiently use CAD and at least one 3D modeling software; understand chemical process equipment design, fabrication, and performance testing standards.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical equipment failures, and propose improvement actions to enhance reliability.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis to identify and eliminate potential issues.
- Coordinate and support the installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of new equipment.
