Job Description
The BVI Financial Services Commission is seeking a Child Caregiver/Child Care Worker to join its After School Program. The ideal candidate will provide attentive and engaging supervision for children of employees during after-school hours, while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
Requirements
- Certification in Child Development or Early Childhood Education is an asset
- At least two (2) years’ experience working with children in a structured setting
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage groups of children with patience, kindness, and consistency
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- A responsible and proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with child safety protocols and behavior management strategies
