Job Description
Business Wire is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to build, automate, and maintain robust IT infrastructure. The role involves managing Linux-based systems, cloud infrastructure, and automation scripts, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Linux, automation, and troubleshooting complex system issues.
Requirements
- Build and maintain Linux-based systems.
- Manage and administer on-premise and Cloud-based IT Infrastructure.
- Develop automation scripts using IAC tools.
- Design and implement highly available and self-healing components.
- Assist with escalated incidents and provide subject matter expertise.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Expert knowledge of Linux fundamentals.
- Extensive expertise in virtualized environment management (vCenter).
- In-depth understanding of TCP/IP network protocol.
- Proficiency in using HTTP APIs.
- Experience with configuration management platforms (Ansible).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform).
- Experience with metrics, monitoring, and visualization tools.
