CNC Shop Team Lead - PM Shift

The CNC Shop Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the CNC machining department, setting up and operating CNC machines, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality machining. This role serves as a point of contact during Machine Shop Supervisor absences and involves leading a team of 8 machinists/operators. The team is scheduled Monday to Thursday, 2:15 PM - 12:45 AM.

Requirements

• Interpret complex manufacturing drawings and technical specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC machines (Okuma MB5000H, Mazak QTN 350-II, Mazak VCN-530C, Doosan MX2500 LST).
• Train and mentor machinists.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Troubleshoot CNC machining issues.
• Perform CNC programming tasks.
• Execute daily production plans.
• Ensure paperwork and documentation are completed.
• Coordinate additional support.
• Provide leadership coverage.
