EMT Paramedic I/II

This job posting is for EMT Paramedic I/II positions in Asheville, NC. The selected candidate will provide emergency first-aid and medical treatment, respond to emergency rescue situations, and perform various duties related to emergency medical service work.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or equivalent
• Required course work in emergency medical techniques
• At least one (1) year experience as an EMT
• Certification as a Paramedic by the North Carolina Office of EMS
• Certification as a Critical Care Paramedic by International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSA) or University of Maryland – Baltimore County (UMBC) for EMT Paramedic II
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
