Quantitative Analyst, CoinDesk Indices (Contract)

CoinDesk Indices Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the development, maintenance, and analysis of our digital asset indices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a quantitative developer or in a similar quantitative role, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python.
• Familiarity with SQL is also highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of mathematics and statistics, including concepts like time-series analysis.
• Knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and financial instruments.
• Experience working with large datasets, including data cleaning, processing, and analysis.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with digital assets and blockchain technology is a significant plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
