The Financial Controller will play a key role in uniformizing accounting practices, supervising the financial team, and analyzing financial operations. The role is very operational, requiring the person to be comfortable with getting hands-on from day one, while developing progressively leadership and management responsibilities.

Requirements

• University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, ideally in a construction or real estate context
• Strong analytical skills for financial statements and good understanding of operational issues
• Experience or marked interest in cost management, financial control, and performance
• Excellent relational skills, tact, rigor, and adaptability
• Knowledge of a construction ERP (e.g., Maestro): a significant asset
• CPA title: an asset, but not required
