Outside Sales Representative

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to represent the company with large or complex customers, understand customer needs, and identify products and services to meet these requirements. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or related field, and two years of prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field
• Two years of prior sales experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in Office Suite
• In-depth knowledge of company products, services, production processes and product standards
• In-depth understanding of policies and procedures relating to sales and customer service
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
• Demonstrated professionalism, diplomacy and tact
• Highly effective selling skills
• Ability to achieve aggressive sales goals and objectives
• Highly effective presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively and work unsupervised
• Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
• Attention to detail
