Job Description
The Facilities Serviceperson is responsible for performing semi-skilled work involving heavy cleaning and maintenance of schools and buildings. This includes sweeping, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors, emptying trash, and performing minor repair work.
Requirements
- Ability to complete the Basic Facilities Service job related training program
- Ability to perform custodial work
- Ability to operate labor saving devices
- Ability to do heavy lifting
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English
- Ability to work well with others
- Computer skills as required for the position
