Quality Engineer

Brooks Automation is a leading provider of automation solutions in the semiconductor industry, seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Japan - Yokohama. The role involves developing and maintaining quality standards, inspecting and testing products, and analyzing reports to recommend corrective action.

Requirements

• Develop, apply, revise, and maintain quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
• Design and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment
• Assess projects to analyze risks and costs and make recommendations
• Analyze reports and returned products, and recommend corrective action
• Prepare documentation for inspection/testing procedures
• Develop tools, methods, and systems to ensure continuous performance improvements
• May focus on supplier and supply chain quality
