Chief Engineer

The Chief Engineer is responsible for all onboard machinery, fuel and fuel transfer operations, and maintaining vessel safety. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and ordering of supplies. Long hours and frequent travel are common.

• Maintain shipboard machinery and onboard systems.
• Refueling and fuel transfer operations.
• Complete necessary repairs in a timely manner.
• Log and record all repairs and maintenance.
• Track orders for parts and supplies.
