Captain

The Captain is a USCG licensed officer serving as a backup to the vessel captain. This role requires navigating vessels, overseeing gear handling, maintaining safety standards, and working with the Bristol Wave operations team to improve the business plan. The position involves long hours, physical demands, and varying lengths of travel, with 16-hour shifts, 7 days a week, and potential travel of up to 60+ days.

Requirements

• USCG Licensing required
• Ability to navigate effectively and familiarity with all related regulations
• Ability to supervise handling of all gear
• Ability to maintain safe practices aboard the ship and conduct safety drills
• Drill Instructor certification
• HACCP certification
• Administering of required random and post-accident drug screenings
• Proper handling of paperwork and communications
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
