Job Description
Brindley Engineering is seeking a Structural Designer to assist engineers in field evaluations and develop architectural drawings. The role involves field measurements, structural drawing creation, review of drawings, and contributing to design development. It offers opportunities for professional development and a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- 2-year technical degree
- Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD, BIM 3D Modelling (CADWorx, S3D, E3D, etc.), Bluebeam
- Experience with REVIT
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physical mobility (on the ground and at heights)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work at heights
- Knowledge of building codes (Concrete, Steel, AWS preferred)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Adherence to random drug testing program
- Client facial hair safety policy adherence
