Job Description
We are seeking a HVAC Controls System Designer to work on controls system design for commercial and government buildings. The position involves designing, selecting equipment, planning layout, writing specifications, and estimating costs.
Requirements
- At least three years' experience in HVAC controls system design or installation
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems and their operation
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Self-motivated with the desire to learn and work in a team environment
- Ability to be creative (think outside the box of normal design)
- Communicates well verbally, in writing, and graphically, with other engineers, clients, and code authorities
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong personal ambition and work ethic
