We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has previous mechanical and/or electrical maintenance technician experience and wants to learn the scale industry. The ideal candidate will interact well with customers and be a team player. Typical workdays include team meetings, planning for each customer visit, and using company trucks/tools to service, calibrate, and repair a customer's weighing equipment.
Requirements
- Fundamentals of the scale technician trade and our professional expectations.
- Scale products and mechanical/electrical components in the scale industry.
- How to use company vehicles, specialized equipment, and tools to service, calibrate and repair a customer’s weighing equipment
- On-the-job skills to support our customers.
- Attend regular meetings with your manager and mentor to track learning progress.
- Maintain a clean and professional attitude and image.
- Complete and adhere to all assigned safety training.
- Obtain a Commercial Driver’s License Class B (CDL B)
- Pass a final exam to advance to a Certified Scale Technician (CST).
