The PIP Arbitration Jr. Attorney will work closely with an experienced PIP attorney to provide assistance with the caseload. They will assist with the responsibility of PIP arbitrations from the time of the submission through the conclusion of the arbitration.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the NJ & NY Bar.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Ability to learn to properly update the fee schedule breakdowns of all medical specialties in accordance with the New Jersey Fee Schedule and corresponding regulations
- Ability to learn to independently prepare all submissions and argue arbitration hearings based upon defenses submitted, including preparation of digital exhibits
- Ability to learn to negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and adversaries
- PIP arbitration experience and ability to summarize medical records is not required, but is a plus.
