Job Description
CHEP helps move more goods to more people, in more places than any other organization on earth via our 347 million pallets, crates and containers. The Transportation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing transportation data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving continuous improvement in service and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in supply chain/transportation/operations management/data science/computer science/industrial engineering/statistics/machine learning
- Analytical capabilities needed to convert large amounts of data into a clear story and/or assess business process improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in a challenging environment
- Experience in supply chain management preferred
- Experience with transportation and Tender Management software systems
- Data science experience a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint) required
- Experience with TMS Software (BlueYonder) required
- Strong analytical and presentation skills, expertise in MS Office (Power BI, SQL, Excel and PowerPoint) required
