Accounting Manager

Box, a leader in intelligent content management, is seeking an Accounting Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational accounting for its Tokyo office. This role focuses on managing daily accounting activities, maintaining compliance with local/US laws, leading month-end and year-end closures, handling tax returns, and collaborating with US Headquarters and other teams. The manager will support compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Manage and execute daily accounting operations including General Ledger maintenance, accounts payable, expense reimbursements, fixed assets, prepaids, and cash management.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Japan statutory financial statements and tax filings in accordance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with tax and legal teams to ensure compliance and provide necessary documentation.
