Senior Bioinformatics Scientist

Research Computing supports basic, translational, and clinical research by providing researchers with access to digital tools and technologies. The Senior Bioinformatics Scientist will work with PhD-level bioinformatics scientists and researchers to develop solutions for cutting-edge research ranging from lattice light-sheet microscopy to CryoEM, genomics, and informatics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or related preferred
• A minimum of one year of position-specific experience
• Extensive knowledge of bioinformatics computations, web development, and open-source software
• Strong publication record and effective communication skills
