Job Description
This Project Engineer II position supports the development of plans, specifications, and construction drawings for substation and renewable energy projects. The role involves assisting with designs, purchasing, construction contracts, and providing guidance to designers and CAD operators. It requires minimal customer and vendor interaction and a focus on supervised work with training.
Requirements
- Assist in development of plans, specifications, and inspection reports.
- Assist in preparation of material lists and labor contracts.
- Assist with preparation of Solar/Wind Farm, Battery Storage, substation and utility interconnection designs and construction drawings.
- Basic administration of material purchases and construction contracts.
- Provide direction to designers, CAD operators on candidate’s assigned team.
- Perform basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Interface well with employees at all levels.
