Aluminum Extrusion Operator -2nd Shift

As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for performing various tasks, including loading and starting Age Ovens, monitoring and removing press scrap, and staging racks. You will also be responsible for performing the Stretching Operation, which involves inputting stretcher parameters for each order and visually monitoring parts for over-stretch or under-stretch conditions. You will work in a collaborative environment and be responsible for maintaining a clean, clutter-free workstation.

Requirements

• Load and start Age Ovens
• Unload Age Ovens
• Operator an Overhead Crane
• Monitoring and removing press scrap
• Staging Racks
• Loading metal and spacers
• Stretcher Operation
• Saw Operation
• Must be able to read and understand a tape measure
• Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor
• Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems
• Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation
• Able to participate in a collaborative environment
• Comply with safety policies and procedures
• Accepts feedback from the Team Captain to ensure the bundles meet safety standards
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
