Automation Engineer

Boldr is seeking an Automation Engineer to ensure seamless delivery and resilience across Boldr's application and data platforms. The role requires hands-on execution and development of automation solutions, as well as cross-training in Data Engineering and product development. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with experience in software development, automation execution, and data engineering fundamentals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in modern software development, specifically using languages like Python (for scripting/data handling) and/or JavaScript/Node.js (for application/integration logic)
• Proven experience executing and maintaining workflows on automation platforms (e.g. n8n, Zapier, Make, etc.)
• Strong foundational knowledge of data flow concepts, relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and basic SQL proficiency
• Experience with ETL/ELT concepts is required
• Practical experience using core services in cloud environments (AWS, GCP) for deployment, logging, and monitoring purposes
• Direct experience working with/integrating HRIS, ATS, or CRM tools (e.g. BambooHR, Rippling, Zendesk, Hubspot)
