Block is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented engineers for their Planning product, which empowers homeowners to visualize their dream spaces, get estimates, and choose materials. The platform leverages cutting-edge generative AI to revolutionize home renovation planning. The role focuses on engineering leadership, fostering a positive team environment, and directly contributing to product development.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in engineering leadership or mentoring (Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, Engineering Manager)
- 5+ years software engineering experience
- Proficiency in modern web technologies (Next, Typescript, React, Apollo)
- Experience managing a remote team
- Ability to balance management and technical contributions
