Job Description
B.L. Harbert International is looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to work in our International Construction Group in Birmingham, Alabama. The Senior Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for estimating the following: Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning, Hydronic, Plumbing, Civil Utilities, Fire Protection, Treatment Plants, and Air-side and Wet-side Specialty systems.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
- 10+ years of experience preparing mechanical estimates for various types of construction
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with estimating software such as: On Center OST, Fast Est (FastDUCT/ FastPIPE), Trimble MEP or similar programs
- Experience with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
