Job Description
Blackbird.AI is seeking a Principal Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and scale their Narrative and Risk Intelligence Platform. This role involves architecting entire applications, defining technical strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about AI and risk intelligence, and will mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks like React or Next.js
- Expertise in backend development with Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript) and Python
- Deep understanding of API development (REST, GraphQL) and microservices architecture
- Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong knowledge of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven leadership experience and mentoring skills
- Startup experience or familiarity with fast-paced environments
