Job Description
We are seeking a Graphene Photonic Component Designer to contribute to the design and simulation of passive and active photonic components for a high-speed optical transceiver platform.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in integrated photonics
- Proficiency in photonic simulation tools: Lumerical MODE/FDTD, COMSOL or equivalent
- Familiarity with graphene device simulation tools and 2D materials modeling software
- Knowledge of electro-optic simulation platforms
- Programming skills in Python and working knowledge of Git for version control
- Experience with photonic layout tools such as gdsfactory, Nazca, or OptoDesigner
- Hands-on experience with optical characterization equipment is a plus
