Job Description
Join a stable and growing organization as an Accounting Manager, taking ownership of the full accounting cycle and leading a small team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer with operations in Canada and the U.S.
Requirements
- CPA designation required
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP; exposure to IFRS would be a significant asset
- Experience in Manufacturing/Food/CPG or other Industrial environments (solid understanding of cost accounting principles, including standard costing and variance analysis)
- Very strong proficiency with ERPs and Advanced Excel skills. System implementation experience would be an advantage
- Exceptional ability to analyze, communicate effectively, and solve complex problems
- Demonstrated success in developing team talent & building strong partnerships across organizational function
- High integrity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
