Senior Backend Engineer - Go Network

BitGo is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Engineering Team, focused on building new features and applications for enterprise clients. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust APIs, libraries, and services to power financial services, including clearing and settlement, digital asset lending, and liquidity. BitGo is the leading infrastructure provider of digital asset solutions and focuses on serving millions of retail investors worldwide.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of back-end, server-side software development experience
• Experience with functional programming
• Experience developing or supporting financial accounting systems (general ledger, bookkeeping)
• Familiarity with digital asset trading, lending, and wallets
• Strong algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis skills
• Strong experience with server-side languages like TypeScript/Node.JS
• Strong experience with SQL databases like Postgres or MySQL
• Strong experience with RESTful API design
• Experience with unit and functional testing and debugging
• Experience with microservices and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI tools
• Comfortable with on-call rotations for system support
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain
