Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for the scheduling and planning of all maintenance activities on site, working with the Maintenance Operations team to ensure all work requests are addressed and followed up in a timely manner. They will be responsible for both long range and short term scheduling and planning, as well as maintaining accurate electronic records using the computerized management system (CMMS).

Requirements

• Planning and scheduling of all Maintenance activities
• Conducting daily and weekly planning & scheduling meetings with customers
• Maintaining notification backlog using the CMMS
• Evaluating work requests and developing scope of work
• Leading investigations for failures of major pieces of equipment
• Completing deviations, CAPAs and Change Controls
• Developing and maintaining department metrics
• Executing standard work deployment and improvements
• Gathering technical documentation and verifying availability of parts
• Improving work order planning and scheduling effectiveness
• Administration and Maintenance of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Training of new users on the CMMS system
• Participating in plant safety initiatives/processes
• Auditing preparation and maintenance of areas to regulatory standards
