(Senior-) Director, Clinical Development

BioNTech is seeking a Senior-Level Director of Clinical Development to lead clinical strategies for assigned programs. This role involves overseeing clinical trials from early to late stages, ensuring data integrity, patient safety, and regulatory approval. The director will collaborate with the VP of Clinical Development to guide decisions, lead a matrix team, and drive innovation in trial design.

Requirements

• M.D. with strong scientific and clinical background in Immuno-Oncology, Oncology
• Experience leading clinical development programs through phases I-III and NDA submission
• Understanding of clinical and scientific methods, companion diagnostics, statistical modelling, and biostatistics
• Strong medical experience overseeing clinical trial data and ensuring appropriate contact for study medical and patient safety aspects
