Job Description
BioMarin is seeking a Director-level Medical Lead for their Global Medical Affairs portfolio, focusing on Enzyme Conditions. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, driving product strategy, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical standards. The position reports to the Global Medical Lead - ENPP1 Deficiency & LSD and focuses on global activities. The role requires expertise in both medical and clinical leadership and strategic planning.
Requirements
- MD, PhD, PharmD or other advanced life sciences degree
- Extensive industry experience in Medical Affairs (≥ 7 years)
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and/or a genetic medicine field (ideal)
- Experience working in orphan or specialty markets (desirable)
- US and international experience working in global orphan/specialty setting (desirable)
- Knowledge of GCP guidelines and compliance rules
- Experience developing post-marketing studies
