Job Description
The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying electronic manufacturing records and digital workflows, primarily within the site’s automation systems. The role involves supporting both manufacturing systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and the LabVantage LIMS) and machine-level connectivity. This cross-functional role bridges operations, quality, IT, and engineering to create smart, efficient, and compliant production systems.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or related technical field
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Automation) or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in an automation engineering, controls technician, or equivalent technical role
