Job Description
Performs simple to complex welding applications, including welding metal components of products and trailers. Under direct supervision, understands how to perform visual and in-process inspections, read and interpret blueprints, and troubleshoot welding problems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent
- Technical education courses or postsecondary institutions
- Strong understanding of blueprints, welding specifications, and procedures
- Ability to use and read welding measuring devices
- Ability to take and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to communicate with supervision and team members
- Basic math skills for calculating material fabrication
