Senior Engineer Manager, Provider & Employer Products

Big Health is a remote-first company that aims to help millions back to good mental health by providing fully digital, non-drug options for common mental health conditions. They are seeking a Senior Engineer Manager to lead their engineering team in building innovative products for Healthcare Providers and Employers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering management experience with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
• Proven experience managing remote and distributed engineering teams
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with experience developing engineers at different career stages
• Experience working in dynamic startup environments with rapid growth and changing priorities
• Deep understanding of full-stack development and modern web architectures
• Hands-on experience with healthcare product development and understanding of healthcare workflows, especially around Ordering and Observations
• Knowledge of healthcare integration standards including FHIR, HL7, and related protocols and message types
• Experience with EMRs, such as Epic, Cerner, eCW, Athena, etc.
• Understanding of healthcare data concepts such as orders, claims, eligibility, and patient records
• Experience with healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.)
• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools and low-code/no-code platforms
• Familiarity with modern development tools and technologies
