Instrumentation Technician - NFAC

The successful candidate will perform the role of Instrumentation Technician supporting wind tunnel testing at the National Full-Scale Aerodynamic Complex (NFAC). This position requires a high level of technical competence.

Requirements

• Provide technical support on customer developed wind tunnel test articles
• Install instrumentation cables as required to transmit signals from the test article to the data system
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain test article instrumentation systems
• Support instrumentation system build-up and check-out activities
• Perform maintenance, calibrations, upgrades, and documentation of facility instrumentation systems as required
• Work closely with lead persons with workflow, tool needs, equipment needs, training requirements, and safety to assure proper work direction and schedule requirements
