Direct Support Person

As a Direct Support Person, you'll get paid while doing fun activities with residents, developing independence, and going on outings. Requirements

• Assist residents in all activities of daily living
• Implement services specified in the Service Plan for individuals assigned
• Responsible for daily care of each individual served
• Assist residents by carrying out Active Treatment as defined by the client's ISP and Individual Activity Schedule
• Responsible for appropriate and timely daily documentation
• Report any possible incidents of abuse and/or neglect
• Assist residents in leisure activities
• Assist residents to emergency and scheduled medical/dental procedures
• Provide basic health care for residents as assigned by nurse and/or supervisor
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
