Job Description
Better Together is seeking a Family Support Specialist to provide direct, hands-on support to families during deployments. This role involves coordinating care, connecting families with resources, and creating wraparound services in regions experiencing staffing shortages. The team focuses on empowering families and maintaining strong community connections while providing consistent support. They are looking for a proactive and resilient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work or related field (preferred)
- Child Welfare Certification from the Florida Certification Board preferred
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and car insurance required
- Willingness to travel 40–70% of the time
- Reliable personal vehicle is required
