Job Description
BETA Technologies is seeking a Modeling and Performance Engineer to analyze, model, and test aircraft performance, specifically for fixed and vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft. The role involves developing and maintaining performance tools for various stages of development and certification, working closely with design and test teams. This position will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation by improving aircraft models and optimizing performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in aircraft performance analysis and/or flight testing
- Experience modeling and simulating aircraft dynamics
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Python
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
